My first attempt at using inkscape.

ITTL, the incipient Soviet Union fails to hold on Ukraine and Belarus, who in fear of their neighbour, take interest on Pilsudski's Intermarium project, after which the Baltic Republics follow suit for similar reasons after a Polish-backed coup in Lithuania (Czechoslovakia declines, something they would bitterly regret later). This substantially alters interwar politics: Hitler focuses in expanding his influence in the balkans, which puts Germany against Italy, that develops a much more aggresive strategy (invading Metaxas' Greece years earlier) and forces Germany to an earlier accord with the Soviet Union. This creates a political earthquake within the Spanish left, and the Spanish Civil War is butterflied. Egypt falls into the German sphere after a Nationalist, anti-British revolt, with the carrot of taking control of Sudan under Germany's auspice, and the stick of Italian expansion. The war has been delayed, appeasement policies still being in place and priorities being different against a stronger Poland... but after taking Denmark, Norway (Quisling tried a coup and failed so the Germans "assisted" him) and the Sudetenland, all lines have been drawn, Germany still needs vital space, and Europe is preparing for the unavoidable.

Well, IOTL it was a non-aggression pact and a plan to share out the Eastern European cake more than anything, but ITTL it goes forther beyond and lasts more due to the presence of a strong, allied and staunchly anti-Communist power such as the Intermarium.

In 1941, Ribbentrop and Molotov signed the pact . August 1 Germany invade the Federation. France happy sitting behind the Maginot Line . At the beginning of the Federation is successful . That's pretty close to how I pictured the war to start. One quibble: ITTL, the Spanish Civil War never happened.

Nice! Didn't really check this one out until you posted your new map on ah.com, but it's very good-looking and an interesting concept. One objection: Ukrainian and Belorussian borders were somewhat in flux during the civil war, and would be decided by fighting if they tried to join up with Poland. They're unlikely to be as close to the OTL borders as you have it.

Oh Crap. Let's just say, for the sake of my laziness, that the Intermarium/Russian border represent a Western-approved claim and not the real thing :P

No es por tocarte las narices, pero creo que en 1935-6, Leopoldo III, el rey de Belgica decidio que el pais seria neutral. Asi que ha habido un cambio en la direccion de la politica exterior belga?

But nonetheless, I like this! Good job!
